...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Onshore winds are breezy along the coast and lowlands and will offer
slight increases in RH over the next few days. However the long
period of above average temperatures will continue to dry fire
fuels. ERC values are exceeding or approaching the max moving
average for a number of regions. Conditions are dangerous, and we
urge extreme caution.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

The extreme and prolonged heat will continue as relative humidity
values drop to the low teens and single digits. Recoveries also
remain poor on the ridges and slightly better in the valleys. A
weak surface low off the coast will enhance the pressure gradient
and westerly winds Friday and through the weekend, especially in
the afternoons. Red Flag conditions are expected to be more
consistently met through this period. Recoveries will improve next
week and temperatures are expected to slowly moderate, especially
closer to the coast.
