...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Savage affecting Scott, Hennepin, Carver and
  Dakota Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and remains forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Savage.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 700.0 feet, Flood waters begin to cover trails at
  Fort Snelling State Park as well as low parts on the Bloomington
  Ferry Bridge trail just east of US 169.
  At 702.0 feet, Barge loading affected at Port Cargill, and other
  flood prevention measures are begun. Water begins to impact Black
  Dog Road in Burnsville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1000 AM CDT Saturday, the stage was 703.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 698.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1000 AM CDT Saturday was 703.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Tuesday morning and continue falling to 699.0 feet
    Saturday, July 20.
  - Flood stage is 702.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    703.7 feet on 04/08/1984.
