VFR conditions outside of convection through the TAF period. Light
and variable winds will become SSE and increase to 5-8 KT by mid
morning. The east coast sea breeze is forecast to form in the
afternoon, backing the winds E/SE and increasing the winds to
around 10 KT. VCTS starts around 18Z for all terminals except MLB,
which starts at 21Z. Have maintained TEMPOS for TIX northward,
starting at 18/20Z, and for MLB starting at 21Z. Showers and
storms should dissipate or move out of the local area a little
after sunset. Light and variable winds once again Sunday
overnight.

Issued at 900 PM EDT Sat Jul 13 2024

Showers continue to diminish this evening from earlier showers and
storms. Dry conditions are forecast to develop by around midnight,
with cloud cover also decreasing through the period. Temperatures
overnight will remain warm and muggy, only falling into the
mid-70s. Areas along the coast could even remain in the upper 70s.
Sunday, scattered to numerous showers and storms are once again
forecast in the afternoon.

Afternoon-Tonight...Weak high pressure ridging exists across the
local waters. SSW/S winds Cape northward and S/SE southward with
speeds 6-11 kts on average. Seas 2-3 ft but locally higher invof SCT
lightning storms.

Sunday-Wednesday...Previous...Favorable boating conditions outside
of convection expected through mid-week. South to southeast winds
will persist through the time period, with speeds generally around
10 KT. The east coast sea breeze is forecast to form each afternoon,
which will back the winds more east-southeast and increase the winds
to 10-15 KT. Seas 2-3ft, building to 2-4ft on Sunday and Monday.
Scattered showers and lightning storms will be possible each
afternoon and into early evening.
