...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Collier, northern Mainland Monroe and Miami-Dade Counties through 345
PM EDT...

At 316 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm over Fortymile Bend, or 25 miles northwest of
Homestead General Airport. This storm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Loop Road Ee Center, Dade-Collier Training Airport, Fortymile Bend,
and Big Cypress National Preserve.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
