Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
209 AM CDT Thu Jul 18 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Big changes in the weather will continue to keep fire weather
concerns low as rain chances increase and temperatures cool below
normal. RHs remain above critical levels, winds stay generally
light, and we have several opportunities for rain. Storms will
pose a risk of fire starts from lightning and will contain gusty, erratic
winds. This pattern could take us into the middle of next week
before we see warmer and drier conditions.

Matrix product issued by the Midland/Odessa National Weather
Service Office.
