Showers and thunderstorms are ongoing across the region as of
5:45pm. The main accompanying risks with these cells are high
rainfall rates of up to two inches per hour, and 40mph wind gusts. Localized
flooding is possible with any persistent, slow moving cells. Most
activity is drifting east at 10-20 mph. These showers and
thunderstorms look to continue into the late evening hours.
