OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan
National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI
853 PM CDT Tue Jul 16 2024

FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

A few showers will linger in a widely scattered fashion over Lake
Michigan into Wednesday morning. High pressure of 30.2 inches
will slowly move southward out of central Canada and into the
Upper Midwest by Wednesday night. This will end any lingering
isolated rain shower chances and deliver northerly winds and a
cooler, drier airmass. This high will dominate our weather regime
into at least the first half of the upcoming weekend.
