...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL CHERRY AND
NORTHEASTERN SHERIDAN COUNTIES THROUGH 800 AM MDT...

At 656 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15
miles southeast of Gordon, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Indian Hill, Intersection of Highway 61 and Shadbolt Road,
Schoolhouse Lake, Highway 61 crossing the Snake River, and Rock Hill.

This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 196 and 213.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in North Platte.
