Some rain showers traversed southwest Nebraska this morning, while
other isolated showers popped up in the Sandhills this afternoon.
Otherwise, partly cloudy skies graced the region, along with a
light northerly breeze and seasonable highs near 80.

Fair conditions are anticipated overnight, then storm chances
increase again toward sunrise. Scattered storms will likely
develop in northwest Nebraska and spread southeast through the
day, with some being strong or severe. Lows tonight will be in the
mid 50s, and highs tomorrow ranging from upper 70s north to mid
80s far south.
