.NOW...
Through 6 pm, widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms
will wax and wane across the SE Gulf waters between the Tortugas
Ecological Reserve South and T Tower. Elsewhere, showers and
thunderstorms will enter the eastern distant Straits of Florida near
and east of Elbow Cay. All of these showers and thunderstorms are
moving west northwest at 10 to 15 knots. The stronger activity will
be capable of wind gusts near 25 knots, bouts of lightning, and
blinding downpours.
