Through 930 am, scattered showers and isolated stronger, embedded
thunderstorms will move to the northwest at near 10 knots across the
coastal waters north and west of the Florida Key island chain,
including the offshore Gulf waters and the Dry Tortugas. Mariners
encountering the stronger activity south of D Tower can expect
blinding downpours, occasional lightning strikes and wind gusts
approaching 30 knots.
