...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Florida, including the following
  counties, Flagler, Putnam and St. Johns.

* WHEN...Until 100 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1053 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Saint Augustine, Palatka, Crescent City, Pomona Park,
    Hastings, East Palatka, Andalusia, Saint Augustine Beach,
    Federal Point, Saint Augustine Shores, Orange Mills, Saint
    Augustine South, Butler Beach, Crescent Beach, San Mateo,
    Vilano Beach, South Ponte Vedra, Guana River State Park,
    Spuds and Elkton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
