...STRONG WINDS EXPECTED IN EASTERN IL OVERNIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY
MORNING...

Northerly winds will increase during this evening over central and
eastern Illinois, with gusts of 30 to 35 mph common by late evening
from I-55 east. Winds will turn northwest during overnight with gusts
of 35 to 40 mph at times in eastern IL overnight through mid
Wednesday morning, with the strongest winds along and east of I-57.

High profile vehicles like semi trucks should reduce their speed
especially if they have a cross wind in open areas on I-57, I-70,
I-72 and I-74. Tie down loose objects or bring them inside to
prevent them from being blown around tonight and Wednesday morning.
