A few storms affected northeast Kansas overnight but quickly
dissipated a couple hours prior to sunrise. The remainder of
central and eastern Kansas remained dry overnight. Early morning
temperatures ranged from the upper 60s across north central Kansas
to the upper 70s across south central Kansas.

Thunderstorms will continue affecting eastern Nebraska and the
western half of Iowa this morning with some additional storms over
southern Missouri. Additional storms are expected to develop late
this afternoon into the early evening from Central Iowa down into
northeast and central Kansas. Some of these storms maybe severe
with large hail and damaging winds possible.

Highs today are expected to range from around 100 degrees across
much of Oklahoma and southern Kansas to the lower 80s across
northeast Nebraska. Look for overnight lows to range from the mid
50s across western Nebraska to the upper 70s across eastern
Oklahoma.
