Light transport winds will be the limiting factor in smoke dispersions today, with low (10-20%) chances for showers and storms this afternoon. Heat indices will reach near or just above the 100 degree mark today and tomorrow, with highs in the low to mid 90s. Medium (40-60%) chances for showers and thunderstorms will occur on Friday and into the first half of the weekend ahead of a cold front.
