...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PDT SUNDAY...

.DISCUSSION...A surge of tropical moisture will provide for
scattered showers and thunderstorms across the
Sierra Nevada through Sunday evening. Since these
thunderstorms are moisture deficient, dry lightning will
remain possible and A Red Flag Warning will continue.
A cooling trend will take place across the area through the
middle of next week with drier conditions becoming more
predominant by Tuesday.

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy. Chance of dry showers and
                    thunderstorms.
Max temperature.....75-77.
Min humidity........33-38 percent.
Surface winds (mph).Southwest 4 to 8 mph, except gusty and
                    erratic near any thunderstorm.

.TONIGHT...

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming
                    mostly clear overnight. Chance of showers
                    and thunderstorms in the evening, then chance
                    of rain and slight chance of thunderstorms
                    overnight.
