.DISCUSSION..
Heavy rainfall, tropical storm to close to hurricane force wind
gusts, storm surge and weak tornadoes are possible across portions
of the area today. Conditions will begin to improve this afternoon
and this evening, generally from south to north, as weakening Beryl
moves north to northeast and out of the area. Mainly daytime shower
and thunderstorm chances can be expected for the remainder of the
week, with activity mainly concentrating across areas closer to the
coast.
