...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN WICHITA COUNTY THROUGH
145 AM CDT...

At 114 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles west of Modoc to 8
miles south of Leoti. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of southern Wichita
County, including the following locations... Marienthal and Lydia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
