The overnight hours saw clear skies across a majority of the
region. Temperatures as of two in the morning ranged from 59 in
Norton, Kansas to 63 in Saint Francis, Kansas. Winds were
generally from the south to southwest at 5 to 15 mph.

OUTLOOK... A warmer day is forecast for today with temperatures
warming into the upper 80`s and lower 90`s underneath sunny skies.
This afternoon, storms are forecast to develop in parts of
Northwestern Kansas and Southwestern Nebraska. A few storms may be
severe. Tonight, showers and storms are forecast to be scattered
across most of the region. The severe weather chances will be much
lower with these storms, but not zero. Lows are forecast to be in
the 50`s and 60`s. Tomorrow, chances for showers and storms are
forecast to continue into the afternoon. There is a low chance for
severe weather. Highs are forecast to be cooler in the 70`s.
