...ON THIS DATE IN WEATHER HISTORY...

In 1956, an F2 tornado caused minor property damage in Wichita
County Kansas. The tornado path was estimated to be 5 miles long
and 33 yards wide.

In 2007, thunderstorm winds estimated at close to 80 mph blew over
a semi truck 1 mile west of Reager Kansas in Norton county. A grain
bin in town was also destroyed at the grain elevator.
