...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT GILA...APACHE AND NAVAJO
COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM MST...

At 223 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Alchesay Fish Hatchery, or 23 miles south of Show Low, moving
northwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
White Mountain Apache Reservation, Big Mountain, Deer Spring
Mountain, Whiteriver, Whiteriver Airport, Rainbow City, Round Top
Mountain, Alchesay Fish Hatchery, North Fork, Turkey Creek, and Seven
Mile.

This includes the following highways...
 State Route 73 between mile markers 311 and 313, and between mile
markers 337 and 355.
 Highway 60 between mile markers 317 and 335.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
