No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time. Hot temperatures are expected Sunday and Monday ranging from the upper 80s to mid 90s. Triple digit heat index values are expected for most locations both Sunday and Monday, but are currently forecast to remain just below Heat Advisory criteria. As a front moves into the area and stalls, scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected Sunday afternoon with more widespread coverage of showers and thunderstorms on Monday. Generally 0.25-1.5" of rain are expected, but some areas could see locally higher amounts in the strongest storms. With abundant moisture in the atmosphere, minimum relative humidities will range from the 50s to 70s across the area. Winds will be light and variable at 5mph or less on Sunday and Monday with the occasional gust up to 12 mph.
