...Thunderstorms will impact portions of Linn, southeastern Buchanan,
Delaware, northern Iowa, Benton, northwestern Dubuque, northwestern
Jones and northwestern Johnson Counties through 1015 PM CDT...

At 924 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms along a line
extending from Greeley to 6 miles southeast of Grinnell. Movement was
east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Pea size hail and Lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cedar Rapids, Vinton, Manchester, Marengo, Marion, Hiawatha,
Dyersville, Robins, Belle Plaine, Center Point, Fairfax, Epworth,
Atkins, Farley, Walford, Urbana, Central City, Palo, Shellsburg, and
Victor.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 205 and 217.
 Interstate 380 between mile markers 19 and 46.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
