...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Scott and Clinton
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The next statement will be issued by Sunday evening at 645 PM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL SATURDAY, JULY 13...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S.

* WHEN...Until Saturday, July 13.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Overbank flooding occurs. Water affects
  residences along the river between Wheatland and Calamus. Water
  affects businesses along the river near Calamus.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 11.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river is currently undergoing a very
    broad crest.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late Friday evening and continue falling to 10.1 feet
    Saturday, July 13.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
