...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Cedar River near Conesville affecting Muscatine and Louisa
  Counties.

  Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued by Saturday morning at 1000 AM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Oakville.

* WHEN...Until late Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural land is ongoing.
  Several county roads are under water and closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 12.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river will slowly begin to fall
    Saturday as backwater effects continue from the Mississippi.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to hold at 12.1 feet this
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 14.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river is slowly falling.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Sunday morning and continue falling to 10.5 feet
    Friday, July 19.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
