...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN SAGINAW AND SOUTHERN
MIDLAND COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 632 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles east of Pleasant Valley to near
Breckenridge to 6 miles northwest of Elsie. Movement was east at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Merrill and Marion Springs around 640 PM EDT.
  St. Charles and Freeland around 700 PM EDT.
  Chesaning around 705 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Brant, Nelson,
Laporte, Swan Creek, Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge, Garfield,
Hemlock, Fenmore, Porter Township, and Layton Corners.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
