...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN ST. LOUIS COUNTY
THROUGH 345 PM CDT...

At 321 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles southeast of Kettle Falls, or 36 miles north of Lake Vermilion,
moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Crane Lake, Voyageurs National Park, Kabetogama Lake, and Sand Point
Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
