Heat index values will reach the century mark this afternoon in the Lower Susquehanna, Delaware, and Lehigh Valleys. The heat index could reach triple digits again on Monday and Tuesday afternoon. Isolated showers or thunderstorms are possible this afternoon near Lake Erie and also across far eastern Pennsylvania. Otherwise, today will be dry with a mix of sun and clouds. Expect a rain free end to the first weekend of July with slightly lower humidity on Sunday. The odds for rain increase through early next week with rain and thunderstorms most likely on Tuesday afternoon. $$
