...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SCREVEN...CANDLER AND BULLOCH
COUNTIES UNTIL 4 PM EDT...

At 332 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Portal, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Statesboro, Brooklet, Portal, Pulaski, Register, Rocky Ford,
  Georgia Southern, Hopeulikit, Dover and Leefield.

This includes I-16 between mile markers 107 and 120.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
