...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS FROM PORT ROYAL SOUND TO SOUTH OF FRIPP
ISLAND...

The areas affected include...
Waters from Edisto Beach SC to Savannah GA out 20 NM...

* At 826 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms,
  capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These strong
  thunderstorms were located along a line from over Parris Island
  Reef to over Edisto Forty Reef, moving south at 5 knots.

Locations impacted include...
  Fripp Island Reef, Fripp Island Wreck, Hunting Island Reef, Fripp
  Inlet Buoy, Beaufort 45 Feet Reef, Saint Helena Sound, Pelican
  Bank, General Gordon, Port Royal Sound, Edisto Sixty Reef and Fish
  America.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These thunderstorms will likely produce winds to around 30 knots,
and could pose a serious hazard for boaters. A Special Marine
Warning may eventually be required when these storms reach the
nearshore waters. Boaters should consider heading for shore before
the storm arrives.
