...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of eastern Richmond and
southwestern Aiken Counties through 615 PM EDT...

At 533 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Glendale, or near Augusta, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
North Augusta, Augusta, Hephzibah, Glendale, McBean, Augusta Regional
Airport, Midtown, Minnick Park, Audubon`s Silver Bluff Sanctuary,
Hillcrest Memorial Park, New Savannah Bluff Lock & Dam Park,
Westover, Bennock Mill, Miles Park, Richmond County Recreation
Center, Pendleton King Park, Phinizy Swamp Nature Park, Medical
District Augusta, Beech Island, and Kendan Park.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 520 in Georgia between mile markers 7 and 15.
 Interstate 520 in South Carolina near mile marker 16.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
