...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of central Calhoun,
southeastern Bamberg, central Orangeburg and southeastern Richland
Counties through 400 PM EDT...

At 331 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Sandy Run to Lodge. Movement was east at
15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Orangeburg, Bamberg, Brookdale, St. Matthews, Branchville, Bowman,
Orangeburg County Airport, Claflin College, Edisto Gardens, South
Carolina State University, Ehrhardt, Cameron, Rowesville, Cordova,
Cope, Fort Motte, Yonder Field, Wilkinson Heights, Prince of Orange
Mall, and Edisto.

This includes Interstate 26 between mile markers 131 and 158.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
