Showers and thunderstorms will continue into the overnight hours, though coverage will remain limited. Some thunderstorms this afternoon into this evening could contain some gusty winds up to around 30 mph and small hail, though wind and hail threat diminishes overnight. Showers will come to an end during the early morning hours, but an additional round of showers and thunderstorms will redevelop Thursday afternoon. Some thunderstorms Thursday over eastern Vermont could again contain gusty winds and small hail. Temperatures will remain a few degrees above normal through Friday, then cool to near normal for the weekend. Minimum afternoon relative humidity levels will be in the 45 to 55 percent range. Winds outside of thunderstorms will be light and variable, driven mainly by local terrain.
