Warm and humid conditions will continue across the North Country and Vermont for the next several days with daily highs in the mid 80s to near 90. Today remains partly to mostly cloudy with winds generally 7 mph or less with some variability. Current relative humidity values are currently in the 50s. On radar, showers are popping up near terrain features and will likely remain anchored close to terrain. Despite sunset, an approaching weather system will allow for pop up showers overnight, followed by more numerous showers storms Saturday morning and afternoon. Rainfall amounts will vary depending on convection, but a broad 0.33 to 0.75 of an inch locally up to 1.50 inches possible. The greatest chances for higher rainfall amounts will be in southern Vermont. No fire weather concerns are expected at this time.
