This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

This afternoon, the foothills and mountain valleys will see
elevated fire weather conditions due to minimum relative humidity
as low as 12 percent and wind gusts up to 25 mph.

A strong storm or two may form this evening in Logan, Phillips,
or Sedgwick Counties. The primary threats from these storms will
be hail and strong winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Increased shower and thunderstorm coverage is expected on Sunday.
A few storms may produce hail, gusty winds, and localized heavy
rainfall. There is a limited risk of flooding for the Cameron Peak
burn area.

For the early part of next week, it will be warmer with scattered
thunderstorms in and near the Front Range foothills. The threat of
severe storms is low. Later in the week it will be hot with more
limited thunderstorm coverage. Near record temperatures in the mid
90s to around 100 are possible by Friday.
