As it moves inland, temperatures aloft warm substantially by Monday into Tuesday, with the hottest temperatures of the year so far. .LONG TERM...Tuesday through Saturday...Multi-day 100+ high temperatures are forecast throughout the week with the strong upper ridge dominating across the region. Drier air prevails, although models continue to hint at some increasing high- level moisture later in the week. There is some indication for showers/storms next Saturday evening, but the setup is very marginal and could easily disappear in following forecasts. && .AVIATION...VFR and mostly clear.
