Aside from smoke aloft over the eastern half of the region, it
will be a mostly clear night across the Region with overnight
lows in the mid 50s to mid 60s. Some patchy fog can`t be ruled
out, especially over portions of northern and central Minnesota.

It will remain very warm for much of the Northern Plains through
the weekend, with daily highs mostly in the upper 80s to upper 90s
and overnight lows in the 60s. Humid conditions are also expected
for all but southwest parts of the region. If you have outdoor
plans through the weekend, be sure to take precautions to protect
yourself from the heat and sun. Temperatures are forecast to cool
down closer to normal early next week.

On and off chances for showers and thunderstorms, mainly during
the evening and overnight hours, return to the forecast Thursday
evening and continue through the weekend.
