Temperatures across much of the region will remain cooler through
the middle of the week, with closer to average temperatures south
and below average readings north. A warming trend is then
expected for the latter half of the week, especially in western
parts of the region, as a ridge amplifies in the western US.

There are some chances for a shower and thunderstorm tonight into
Tuesday morning for eastern Montana and the western and central
Dakotas. South Dakota and Minnesota will see showers and a
thunderstorm through Tuesday.
