...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN BROOME COUNTY
THROUGH 1115 PM EDT...

At 1028 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Kirkwood, or 9 miles east of Binghamton, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Kirkwood, Conklin, Sanford, Deposit, Windsor, and East Windsor.

This includes the following highway exits...
 New York Interstate 81 between 1 and 3.
 Interstate 86/Route 17 between 75 and 83.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
