At 814 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Wells, or 12 miles southeast of Speculator, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Warrensburg, Lake George Village, Wells, Thurman, Lake George, Stony Creek, Harrisburg, Garnet Lake, Thurman Station, Big Hollow, Gilmantown, Girards Sugarbush, Blackbridge, Knowelhurst, Bakertown, South Horicon, Stony Creek Station, High Street, Athol, and Griffin. This includes Interstate 87 between exits 21 and 23. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
