...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN FULTON...CENTRAL
SARATOGA AND EAST CENTRAL MONTGOMERY COUNTIES THROUGH 800 AM EDT...

At 728 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Galway, or 9 miles northeast of Amsterdam, moving northeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Saratoga Springs, Amsterdam, Ballston Spa, Corinth, Broadalbin,
Hagaman, Fort Johnson, Galway, North Ballston Spa, Rock City Falls,
Kings, Mount Pleasant, Greenfield, Perth, Parkis Mills, Shaw Corners,
Barkersville, West Milton, Glenwild, and Greenfield Center.

People attending Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) should seek
safe shelter immediately!

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 90 near exit 27.
 Interstate 87 between exits 13S and 14.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
