...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN TORRANCE COUNTY
THROUGH 730 PM MDT...

At 706 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles west of Encino, or 23 miles west of Vaughn, moving south at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Encino and Duran.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 285 between Mile Markers 223 and 228.
 Highway 60 between Mile Markers 240 and 253.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
