...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING
FOR CENTRAL SANTA FE COUNTY...

At 557 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated light to moderate rain across
the warned area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen over parts of
the area, including Santa Fe. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Santa Fe, Tesuque, La Cienega, Canada De Los Alamos, Rio En Medio
  in Santa Fe County, La Bajada, Agua Fria and Chupadero.

This includes Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 271 and 288.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
