.DISCUSSION...Very hot and dry conditions will persist through
late in the week as a historic heatwave continues. Afternoon min
RH values will be in the single digits even across the high
elevations with minimal overnight improvement. Northerly breezes
across Northwest Arizona today will locally enhance fire danger
during the afternoon and evening. A return of modest monsoonal
moisture over the weekend will result in subtle improvements to
regional humidity and a few isolated storms.
