...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN OGLALA LAKOTA...
SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON AND NORTHWESTERN BENNETT COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM
MDT...

At 559 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 12 miles east of Badlands National Park to 9
miles west of Potato Creek to 2 miles west of Kyle North Route
Housing. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Kyle and Kyle North Route Housing around 605 PM MDT.
  Potato Creek around 610 PM MDT.
  Northern Yellow Bear Canyon around 615 PM MDT.
  Snake Butte around 620 PM MDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Pine Ridge
Reservation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
southwestern South Dakota.
