...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN MCINTOSH AND
NORTHWESTERN PITTSBURG COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM CDT...

At 722 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a
line extending from 2 miles southeast of Indianola to 4 miles north
of Haywood. Movement was east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation
         is possible.

Cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning
can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter
inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
