At 942 PM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly east of a
line from Bartlesville to McAlester. Thunderstorms with locally
heavy rain were located in Adair county in Oklahoma and Benton and
Carroll counties in Arkansas. The precipitation was in the Tulsa and
Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville areas. Movement was to the
southeast at around 20 mph. The average amount where it rained last
hour was around one quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of an
inch and a half to two inches. Intensity decreased during the last
hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late this evening and into
overnight, mostly cloudy, showers and thunderstorms likely with
temperatures 74 to 80 degrees and north winds up to 10 mph.
