...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN JEFFERSON...NORTH
CENTRAL SHAWNEE AND SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON COUNTIES THROUGH 715 AM
CDT...

At 648 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ozawkie, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down twigs or small limbs and blow
         around objects. Hail damage to outdoor objects and
         vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Valley Falls, Oskaloosa, McLouth, Meriden, Ozawkie, and Winchester.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 AM CDT for
northeastern and east central Kansas.
