WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONE 497...

The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a Red
Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from noon to 9 PM MDT Sunday.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 497 Mojave Desert.

* WINDS...Northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 3 to 5 percent during the
  afternoon. Overnight relative humidity only recovering to around
  15 percent during the overnight hours.

* IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are likely to
  occur. Any new fire starts or existing fires may spread
  rapidly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now...or are imminent. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

* WINDS...Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 6 to 12 percent during the
  afternoon. Overnight recoveries only expected to reach 15 to 25
  percent, except 25 to 35 percent in the western Uinta Basin.

* IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are likely to
  occur. Any new fire starts or existing fires may spread
  rapidly.
