And now, here`s your Regional Weather Summary, for West Central
Texas.

Late this afternoon, temperatures were upper 90s to as high as 108
under mostly sunny skies. Winds remained breezy out of the south
to southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph at times.

Now, here`s a quick forecast summary, for West Central Texas.

Hot temperatures are expected to persist through the 4th Holiday
with some increased humidity across the area causing even higher
heat indices for the July 4th Holiday. Try to avoid prolonged
intense outdoor activities and be aware of the onset of heat
illnesses. Chances for showers and storms return for Friday and
Saturday, which will bring cooler temperatures in the upper 80s
to mid 90s. Near normal temperatures are expected for the end of
the holiday weekend through mid-next week with low chances for
rain.
